Here’s the journey of Dani Flint Mua. I started in late 2018, working from my lounge and kitchen, doubting myself—thinking, "I'm never going to pull this off; clients won't want to come here. How unprofessional!" I was wrong. I did many mobile makeups, served clients from home, and handled the occasional wedding. In 2020, I realized I needed a dedicated space. When COVID hit, I was grateful to be working from home. Unable to work for nearly three months, I transformed my garage into a new studio with help from friends. We painted the walls, hung curtains, and added some greenery. I worried about my business surviving COVID and even considered looking for other jobs. But I persevered and followed my gut. My daughter became very unwell with epilepsy, and we spent two years in and out of the hospital. I hired help and continued to work where I could. To my clients who saw me at my worst, I apologize, but I told myself: who cares what you look like as long as your client feels beautiful? With continued support, Dani Flint Mua flourished and got busier and busier. My home space served its purpose, allowing me to build my business while being present with my kids. Now, in mid-2024, 30 weddings booked and many many clients booking in salon, I had a thought: I needed a space that suits me and my brand. After driving past a beautiful building for six weeks, thinking, "This feels right, but am I insane?" I finally took the leap. The catch? The ceremony was an hour away. My heart sank at the thought of the bride's added stress on the eve of her wedding day.  It got me thinking: How can one person juggle both hair and makeup for six ladies when the ceremony commences at 2pm? Are corners being cut? Is the quality compromised in the rush? Did they bite off more than they could chew?  As an artist deeply dedicated to my craft, I believe in giving each bridal party the time and attention they deserve to ensure their looks are nothing short of perfection. 💖 Let's create magic together.

Introducing Mr & Mrs Mcmaster 6.4.24 I often get asked why I allow so much time to get a bridal party makeup'd or why am I starting so early. This day was a prime example of 'why' and here is what happened. I went to the apartment located in toowoomba City that had been booked for the bridal party to get dressed and ready at. Hair and makeup was happening when there was a knock on the door to see when they were checking out as they had to clean the room. This was an honest mistake made, and only the 1 previous night had been booked instead of 2. We all packed up and headed to her Bridesmaid's place in Wyreema, which was close to the ceremony location. This put back time by about 45 minutes - which was absolutely fine because I allow the extra time IN CASE something does go wrong. Makeup and hair were completed stress free and our beautiful bride was able to remain calm after a little morning hiccup. I like to have my bridal parties ready 1.5 - 2 hours prior to the ceremony time. This allows for everyone to pop on their dresses, have a champa's 🍾 and bite to eat. Also taking into account the travel time that might be needed to get to the ceremony location.

Ummmm 🤩 Client pic's are the best! 📸 This tan was 4 days old and look how nice it still is 🔥 Even though my client was swimming in the ocean and sitting on the sand, she was still able to maintain her tan and keep it looking great. This is how ⬇️ ✨️Always use a Sulphate free & Paraben free natural body wash daily. Normal soaps and body wash will strip the tan from your skin quickly. NOBODY loves a nasty motel soap 😆 ✨️ Use a Tan extending moisturiser daily. This will also help keep your skin hydrated and keep your tan topped up without it looking streaky. Products in the same brand of tan you have been sprayed with is best. 🧴 ✨️ Stay well hydrated 💦 We all know a good amount of H20 keeps our skin looking Plump and just in general GOOD. ✨️ Keep in mind to always prep your skin properly prior to your spray tanning appointment. If you don't know what you should do to ensure your tan goes on its absolute best then JUST ASK. 🗣
